Remember those shiny baubles... in the wine... make me feel happy... make me feel fine... What was his name - the singer??? Anyhoo, this makes me happy:
Including this pretty little guy, aparently called a European Robin when translated (Rotkehlchen):
It's what I saw when I looked out my window while photographing today's card. Happy winter! Just in time for our Christmas tree cutting tomorrow.
Now back to our regular programming. And the card on the chair in front of me. Here she is.
Love of my life - negative die cutting with inlays. Notice I didn't remove all the little pieces from the gold piece. And I backed it with black (notice the black star in Jay Gee's inspiration photo). A piece of washi, a piece of gold twine and a heat embossed sentiment with bling. Voila.

Love this card, it's CAS but there's so much detail in it! Must try negative die cutting.
Fabulous Maria! The negative die cut looks stunning with the gold and black. Thanks so much for joining us at Jay Gee's :)
How lovely! Wonderfully CAS. Very clever use of bling for the "o". Shirley-bee is right, must try that negative die cutting, especially after seeing your card. Bev
Fabulous! Love your star bauble and particularly your use of washi tape - looks great.
Thanks for joining the challenge fun at ATCAS this fortnight. Hope to see you back again soon.
COOL!!! Love this design, Maria...how creative and clever! (And, yes...it is a bummer about CPT...so sorry there was not a farewell post! So happy to have met some sweet people there and to have 'hooked up' again with you!)
LOVE everything about the card Maria!
Oh wow Maria!! Love so many things about your card, the gold pieces left in your die, the taped hanger to your card, the negative die, and especially how the bead from the ornament makes the "O". Super, super clever!!!
WOW! This is amazing! Love the bling that is included for the sentiment and your negative die! Thanks so much for playing along at ATCAS! xx
Beautiful, Maria! I love your shiny star. :-)
Hi Maria, love the beautiful Cas-nes of this card and how you left some of the gold paper in place. The washi is a fabulous touch and love how you placed your sentiment. Thank you so much for joining us Addicted to CAS and gfood luck.
