STB - april 8 2024

It's April 2024 in my STB memory planner and we got the exterior of our house painted.

What a project for us. Any color would probably have looked better than the dirty white it was. But of course we pondered color combos. And drove neighborhoods checking out other houses. It took weeks with the prep of removing lights and cutting back bushes. Then putting everything back. And painting our screened porch. But in the end it looks fresh and clean and that's the main thing.

Oh cannot forget the solar eclipse. I really enjoyed following NASA's online coverage of it. Loved that 360 sunset in Cleveland!

Photo sleeve and flip. Mismatched alphas which are very colorful but I thought that matched the PAINT theme. That's what you find this week in my Heidi Swapp memory planner.

STB - april 1 2024

We're up to April 2024 in my STB memory planner. Lots of photos. And more of that fun alpha stamp.

Played with ephemera from a Simple Stories kit. And I think my favorite alpha stickers of all time are the little typewriter letters from Krim and Isa. They're ancient but such fun to work with.

Photo flips. Vellum pockets. Doodled lines. And best of all, memories of a beautiful Easter Monday at Oma's house. Three cheers for Heidi Swapp and stopping the blur.

STB march 2024 in a nutshell

Here's a peek at my March month-at-a-glance in my 2024 STB memory planner.

People use them as a calendar. I decided to do a glance back at the end of the month and do a month-in-a-nutshell. Just having fun with all the things that somehow stuck out to me as having been important in that month. What a fun exercise that is.

However... note to self... don't use wet glue to adhere vellum!

May I introduce March-in-a-nutshell.

STB - march 25 2024

More March 2024 in my Heidi Swapp STB memory planner. It's Easter Week!

Less photos. More fun place holders, even adding quite a bit of texture. Why? Who knows. I felt like it.
Also, I played outside the lines - Jamie Pate does this so well. I think it's a great idea although I rarely do it. Do you try to stay within the pre-printed lines in your STB?

Found a PP in the pad that had words as its pattern and decided to cut them out and use them as captions for photos. That led me to my color choices. Again, nice having PP with color schemes already perfected that you can use to create your pages.

Used some bigger stamping and stickers too. Apparently I will never tire of rounded photos. And photo pockets and flip ups ;)

STB - march 18 2024

Happy 60th to me in this week of  March 2024 in my STB memory planner.

Fun that I'd picked up a Simple Stories kit of frames and ephemera and decided to make it work for this week's spread. Started with the large photo of me framed and worked backwards from there. It's so easy when all the things coordinate! Whoddathunk!

Photo pockets. Circle photos. Circle labels. STB stash. Lotsa ephemera And lotsa stamping!

It was one of those weeks. Fun cuz bday. Stressful cuz bday and the party prep that goes along with it. But this spread (which documents both) makes me smile.

STB - march 11 2024

Back home and a little bit of everything in this week's March 2024 of my STB memory planner.

Found some of those old sheets of alpha letters from Basic Grey in my stash. Man I loved that company's designs. Put the alphas to use here.

Circle photos. Circle stamps. STB stash. And some freehand lettering in my Heidi Swapp STB memory planner this week.
