christmas angel (CFC, PC, SSS)

I used to give neighbors a mix of my homemade Christmas cookies every year.  A few years ago I started making a craft project every other year.  Here is a fantastic idea if you want to optimize "the bang for your buck" for homemade home decor gifts.  IMHO.

The idea was in a German magazine, "Landeslust".  Basically you cover a styrofoam ball for the head and a cardboard form for the wings with "Gipsbinden", and use a long nail for the head and two short nails to attach the wings to the wood.  A walk in the wilderness supplies materials for the halos.  Here is a photo of the rest of the group.

I created a "heavenly" tag bearing our Christmas wishes - the Hero Arts cloud background and a heat embossed sentiment.  CAS.  I'm entering these lovely ladies in the Paper Crafts December gallery as well as the tag challenge #80  at CASual Fridays.

Also playing in the Anything Goes Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Appreciate your visit today.

Supplies for Merry Christmas tag:
Paper: tag Office Supply
Stamps:   Hero Arts
Ink :  Distress Ink, Versamark
Tools:
Other: embossing powder, ribbon

These are gorgeous and such a fabulous gift idea!
I don't play with Dynamic Duos too often as I struggle with only using two colours as well. Once in a while it comes together for me though. :)
