STAMPlorations inspiration #248

Welcome back for another Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team. Not only the last inspiration post of the year, but the last day of the year. Happy New Year friends!

I had some fun with some new PP that came to live at my house and a few dies and stamps ;)

STAMPlorations New Year die
STAMPlorations Numbers Plate die
Tedi (Deutschland)PP pad

I knew I was using the die cuts as focal point, so I chose a PP that supported the party feel. Kinda has a fireworks feel to it, doesn't it?

I added a few stamped images at the corners, a heat-embossed "happy" and the die cuts. Can you even believe one more sleep and it's 2020!!!!!!!

STAMPlorations inspiration #247

Welcome back for another Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team.

I had some fun with a new stamp set and some new PP that came to live at my house ;)

STAMPlorations Christmas Sentiments die
Tedi (Deutschland)PP pad

I let the PP dictate the feel of the card. Whimsical. So I pulled out some Art Marks and stamped them as a background to where I knew the tag(s) would be. I used a die cut sentiment and twine to give a little texture to this fun design.

For other ideas with this die check out this card. And this one.

STAMPlorations inspiration #246

Welcome back for another Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team.

I played with one of the STAMPlorations cover plate dies for this simple card. No stamping at all.

First step, select a PP for your background. Second step, die cut the cover plate from white CS. Third step, die cut the holly leaves section of the cover plate from green CS. Fourth, die cut and stack the sentiment. Lastly adhere all the pieces to your cardbase.

STAMPlorations inspiration #245

Welcome back for another Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team.

I've got another CAS stamped Christmas card for you today. You may recognize the overall design. This reindeer is a little big for the design, but I went with it anyhoo.

Nearly one layer. CAS. Stamped the deer. Colored the hat stripes with some of the same ink for a bit more color. And added my sentiment in green. I popped the panel onto a PP cardbase so you see the little strip of stars along the bottom.

STAMPlorations inspiration #244

Welcome to December and to another Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team.

I've got a CAS stamped Christmas card for you today. Isn't that little tree adorable? It was just screaming for some pink...

One layer. CAS. Stamped the trees dark to light. Stamped the snowflakes light to dark. And plopped a green (yep green) sentiment right in the center. Whimsical. Fun. Right?

simon says stamp - blessings in a blanket

No photo description available.

No more sleeps - it's DIECEMBER!

You know. When it's all about dies over at Simon Says Stamp. I received the versatile "Blessings" to play with for the Diecember release over at Simon Says Stamp.

Today's card is a bit outside-the-box perhaps. I had this idea to cover a card front with the die cuts. Then this PP pad fell into my hands. The papers reminded me of quilting materials. And you know the line "I fall asleep counting my blessings"? So I turned the card orientation to mimic a quilt and added the speech bubble up top to mimic a pillow. Strange how the mind works sometimes, eh?

So are you getting the comfy, cozy bed vibe?

CAS cards challenge december

Hello there! Wasn't it just Halloween??? And now it's all about Christmas already! Hope you're in better shape than I am with your preparations. Though we did cut our tree this weekend.

Just in case you're still in the market for some easy Christmas cards. Today we're introducing our December CAS Cards challenge and you could get some ideas from the DT. Here's the inspiration.

No photo description available.

As always it's anything goes. This month the optional twist is Christmas colors so my first card this month pairs those (in the form of poinsettia PP) with a new-to-me die that does all the work for me. Can't beat that, right?

patterned paper

Self explanatory me thinks.

CAS card tip: Add a bit of oomph by stacking the PP die cut for dimension. Trust me, you just want to keep running your fingers over the words. It feels like a puzzle piece ;)

I cannot wait to see what inspires you and your CAS card creations this Christmas-y month! Your project might be chosen as the winner of a GC to the shop. Check out how the DT was inspired by this month's photo here.

And don't forget about my STAMPlorations discount code STAMPGIRLMARIA for 20% off should you find yourself shopping ;)  Thanks for stopping over. See you in the gallery.

Today's card is all about the season. We just chopped our Christmas tree today. I had to go Christmas-y on ya.
SSS Blessings die

Incredibly easy, but so cheery don't you think? I trimmed a PP panel for the front, die cut the snowflake and adhered the "blessings" cut from gold CS over it. Backed it with green CS. I love how the sentiment looks like a metal sign.

I also love how perfectly the inside sentiment from SSS Peaceful Christmas fits.

Thanks for looking. You can check out all the new products in the Diecember release here and all the lovely makes with the products in the gallery.

I'll be back tomorrow with a birthday card. Just think pillow and blanket...
