thankfluke (CFC, SSSS)

Start with a project involving an old jewelry box of DD's, foam stamps and acrylic paint.  Have too much blue paint left when finished with jewelry box.  Grab nearest cardbase, already stamped with a mesh pattern from an old project, stamp a couple flourishes, add some paint around the edges, pick and stamp a thank you sentiment cuz there's a real nice gal you definitely need to send a thank you to.  Oh yeah, then decide you need some yellow dots.  ... and voila!

A fast and oh-so-mailable fluke of a card.  Already in the mail to abovementioned recipient.  Hope she doesn't cringe when she opens it ;)

Playing along with:

Maria...your card is very pretty. The blue edging around the white cardstock front is so striking. I also really like the stamped flourish images across the front of the card and the little yellow dots. They are a great embellishment. Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy

It's beautiful! I can't imagine anyone cringing at the sight of this beauty. The colors and shapes remind me of folk art...my Mom had a gorgeous ceramic trivet similar. Love itc silly girl! Sorry I've been so absent :S

She won't cringe, you nutter! It's beautiful! You have to have a lot of talent to take a little of this and a smudge of that and a few dots and end up with a pretty card fluke. I can't even remember the last time I saw a pretty card fluke, come to think of it. Frameable, that's what this is.

I think it's awesome - I love the hint of mesh on the background and the dark blue part is beautiful! The surprising little yellow dots make it perfect!
Yes, nice work!

I love how this looks like it could be a mediterranean tile, especially because the mesh background makes it look crazed. Definitely frameable!
