a slight dent in the PP stash

A card for DD's friend's 18th. To go with the calorie bomb cake DD is making her. I'll share a cake photo at a later date...

I knew I wanted to use yellow. And die cut words and alphas. Needing more inspiration I checked out Paper Playful and found this new-to-me challenge with fabby colors.

Card Mania #74

Then I grabbed the first 6x6 pad with a similar color scheme (American Crafts Shoreline) and die cut away. Did some stamping with yellow ink (STAMPlorations Friends and Flowers), added a strip of washi at the bottom and then adhered all the die cuts. (My photo was taken at night so the colors don't look as great as the inspiration photo.)

TIP: Consider the pattern on the PP and position the dies more optimally.  At first glance it looks kinda like the poor girl's name is "nannan" :(

I'm also joining the Anything Goes challenge over at Papertake Weekly and the Fab n Funky challenge #280 to use dies and/or punches.

Thanks for looking.
