STAMPlorations inspiration #166

Welcome to March and welcome to a new month of STAMPlorations inspiration posts.
It's time for a Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team where the team members feature stamps from one of our talented stamp designers.

Today we're using Shirley's The Bees Knees stamps. All non-retiring products in the store are 10% off automatically from now through April (with an extra 20% off when you use my discount code STAMPGIRLMARIA).

Two things inspired today's card - our March challenge theme at STAMPlorations which is All about Spring and Faith and some Copic-colored flowers I discovered in my craft room cleanup! I remember stamping them onto a sheet of cardstock and coloring  them with the very first bunch of Copic markers I ever bought. I was at my folks' house in MI.

STAMPlorations Floral Bliss stamp
Copic markers
Embossing powder

Popped up the fussy cut blooms over a heat embossed vase and sentiment. An enamel heart finished it off. And that lovely graphic B/W card base.

I used the rosebuds set in a completely different way here ...

You could win yourself a $10 GC to the store by leaving a comment on the March inspiration posts. Check out today's post here. So happy you stopped by :)

I'm stopping by:
Allsorts - Ladies Only
Daring Cardmakers - March (gal in the black shirt meets those vases of flowers on the tables!)
Time Out - Bold
The Flower Challenge - #18 Anything Goes

Hello Maria: You are probably right, that day I was trying to catch up with my comments on the entries and that is why I got the word verification thingy.
Thank you for alerting me to that possibility.
Your card is gorgeous, I pinned it already.
Hugs.

Just LOVE that you have used up some really old stuff that you randomly found. I love that pop of colour on the black and white. You wouldn't think you'd stamped and coloured the flowers in a long time ago - they were meant for this card. xx

Well Maria, this is one striking creation! I love those flowers, and if that was your first go at using Copics, you started out as an expert! Great coloring!! I love the zigzag base and the black panel on top. The white embossing boldly brings out your wonderful design! Thanks for shaing this beautiy with us at Time Out!!
