Another break from Christmas card sets to bring you three more tags I made to go on the wrapping of my neighbor gift Christmas card sets and what luck that Tracey M's 25 Days of Christmas Tags is happening right now.

So without further ado, here are my tags.

For Day 12 with Lawn Fawn I was totally inspired by Nichol's wreaths and had to run right out and make one just like it, right down to the black gingham ribbon. This one's gonna go on my Fa La La set of Christmas cards.

For Day 13 with Neat and Tangled I combined Elena's plaid-bottomed-tag and Lindsey's colored angel for my tag.

"We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming"...

A little break from Christmas card sets today, though there are more coming...

I decided to make tags to go on the wrapping of the Christmas card sets and what luck that Tracey M's 25 Days of Christmas Tags is happening right now.

So without further ado, here are my first three tags.

For Day 6 with Lil Inker I was inspired by Laura P's pastel ornament shaker and made this shaker tag to accompany my Flora and Fauna card set.

For Day 7 with Birch Press I was inspired by Tracey's layered snowflakes and made this sparkly tag to accompany my sparkly card set.

For Day 14 with Concord and 9th, in the very first trio of tags I fell in love with the kraft tag and made this to accompany my Lasse and Peer card set.

I'll be back with three more tomorrow. Still monkey clapping that I started working on my neighbor gifts early so Tracey's challenge spurred me to create "matching" tags to decorate my packaging. Thanks Tracey!

Welcome back! Time for another Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team where the team members feature stamps from one of our talented stamp designers.

Today we're using Dee's Artsy Impressions stamps. If you haven't seen, there's a huge sale in the shop this week, 40% off most products, including those I used today.

As you may recall, this month I'm inspired by a paper collection from Pinkfresh...

more specifically these pine branches...

Branches, birds, berries. Check. I heat embossed white and red for texture and added a silly bird atop my sentiment from Oh Christmas Tree (retired).

ellen hutson pinsights inspires me

I love it when a card comes together easily. Good product has a lot to do with it. And good inspiration photos really help me personally. Like this latest Ellen Hutson Pinsights challenge ...

I believe this is another set of Pantone colors for 2017 and these speak to me. Over the years I've discovered that I am more of an off-tone person if that makes any sense. There are the color wheel primary colors, and their mixes. And then there are those that have a touch of gray or brown or I don't know what. And those are the tones that end up appealing to me.

Well, these tones spoke to me. And immediately reminded me of the Adirondack ink Earthtones...

And then I saw that pillow with the pheasant. And that string of gourds above him. And a light went off, Gordjus. I love that set of dies - so perfect.

Did you know that the EH store is celebrating its 11th birthday?!? Way to go, Ellen! Glad to have supported you over the years ;) And in honor of the birthday bash going on we are invited to make a project using our favorite EH product. Don't have to ask me twice. So this card is going over to EH.

christmas card set - marbleized diemond pine trees

We were talking trends (like gnomes) yesterday, right? Well I don't know if marble is still as hot as it once was, but I had a rambo marbleizing session a while back. And recently saw some wonderful examples from Andrea M. You must check out her gorgeous creations. So I grabbed one of my pieces and made some very non-traditional and easy peasy cards for today's Christmas-card-set-as-neighbor-gift.

I used Diemond Dies Pine Tree and Simon Says Stamp Holiday Shapes Hearts Stars dies and sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Fa La La. Extremely hard to photograph. Sorry.

I picked up on the little touches of pink in some spots on the marbled glossy cardstock, so stamped two sentiments in neon pink!

CUTplorations november - reminder

Popping in with a reminder about the November die cutting CUTplorations challenge over at STAMPlorations. I've another purple project for you today.

To create a whimsical feel, I stamped a circle from Layered Snowmen randomly on a piece of purple CS with purple ink. Die cut Blessings from the same CS and inked the edges. Stamped two feathers with Feathery and die cut them with Feathery dies. I applied Versamark around their edges and heat embosssed them with a glittery powder.

The embossed red snippet (using Celebrate which will be retiring soon but is a great little set you can pick up for $3.50) is a nod to the berries in the photo. The gray cotton twine reflects the textile aspect of the inspiration photo.
