25 days of christmas tags 2018 - part 5

So while you're all enjoying leftovers, I'm back with the last of the sets of tags I'm making as neighbor gifts this year (14 of 'em)... thanks to Tracey's 25 days of Christmas tags.

Meet my last two sets. Who knows? Maybe there'll be more but for now I have to stop and clean up my craft room table cuz it needs to come up to the living room for our Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday!

If this tag looks familiar to you, you're right. I decided to make a second set with the same design, just dressed it up with a chiffon bow and made some smaller tags to go with them.

I was inspired by Kim's tag for Day 11 with Winnie and Walter, but used one of my all-time fave Christmas sets from Technique Tuesday who was up on Day 13.

For my last set (actually made two sets of these cuz I was having fun coloring the cute images) I was totally inspired by Tracey's tag for Day 11 with Winnie and Walter.  Such a simple way to create a cute little scene, perfect for families with kiddos.

Love that extra irridescent sparkle the snow sequins add to the heat embossed falling snow.

I saw the Tag challenge at Challenge up your Life and put together a card using one of the tags I'd dip-dyed with leftover Easter egg dye a while back.

Actually those hot air balloons are dip-dyed too. The glittery die cut sentiment was sent to me by a friend. I thought the foam sunshine "bead" made a nice addition to this up-in-the-sky design and added a fun factor to the card. I threaded it onto a snippet of cotton crochet thread.

I love splatters. So I had to play along when I saw it was the theme at Create a Smile. Grabbed the colors from Color Throwdown and this happened.

Perhaps you can see the purple tones better on this closeup shot. I had fun playing with Glimmer Mists - for splatters and for painting the lilac. See all that sparkle? Actually the snippet of purple craft foam I used as a sentiment has a built-in sparkle to it too!

Three more tags to top my neighbor gift Christmas card sets. Inspired by Tracey M's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

For Day 10 with Winnie and Walter I was inspired by Lindsey's simple but oho red tag and made one just like it.

OK. Ready for fauna and a little flora? And gobs of whimsy? Here's my favorite Christmas-card-set-as-neighbor-gift. (The decorated envie flaps help too I suppose... ) I pulled out my Flora and Fauna arsenal of stamps and my Altenew ink cubes and this happened.

Without further ado... here's numero uno.

Numero dos. With only one doe (tee hee hee). And heat embossed snow (tee hee hee, that you can barely see)  OK I'll stop.

And numero cinco, definitely not for mass production, but fun to create. Once again I went for the stamping-around-masked-shape design. As long as you fill in most of the edge of the shape, your brain does the rest and "sees" the shape for you. Love how the triangle shapes mimic the shape of evergreens. Just a touch of gold embossing on the little ovals. And that little deer ..... aaahhhhh.
