This month, I 'm creating CAS cards incorporating stamps, dies and stencils!
embossing paste
distress ink
I thought the die of the buttercups would work stand alone, so stamped a couple more on my cardbase. Brushed on a light layer of Mowed Lawn and then stenciled the embossing paste on. I chose the Broken Glass stencil cuz I thought it underscored the sentiment, and supported the idea of plants working to break through tough ground. Die cut one buttercup from a previously watercolored background and sketchily stamped the outline onto it. This bright green sure makes me ready for spring!
I've used this set here too if you'd like more inspiration.

I love how you did this!
Spring on a card and love your thinking behind this wonderful card. Great dimension from the die cut and the stencilling and what a great sentiment. Thanks again Maria for joining in The CAS Mix Up Challenge x.
Great encouragement card! TFS
Wonderfully creative card Maria! Love the mix of stamping, stenciling with paste and die-cutting with watercolouring. Whew ... so many elements in an artsy CAS design. Love it! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
Such a fabulous card, Maria!
Lovely and creative card! Love the texture and dimension.
Lovely card! I like your thought process for creating this card.... Using broken glass stencil as it worked with the sentiments and flowers breaking through the ground. Very smart!
Great card Maria and I love the vibrant green! It's so good to see you in the Playground after a while away.
Hugs
Di xx

Oh the fresh green of spring! It's so good to see that right now. I love your flower coming through the dry, tough ground, it's so symbolic!
