This month I'm creating cards using a design I love but rarely remember to use. It's great for one layer cards. Recognize it? The split design with a sentiment in the middle area.
Today's card was a combo of two ideas. Use a stencil to create the images and make your own stencil using a cover plate die! Stretch your supplies, ya know!
Distress inks - Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Old Paper, Iced Spruce
I die cut the cover plate. Then fussy cut the portion I wanted to use to ink above and below my masked area on the card. Then added the sentiment. Voila!
