mehrmeer

My house is now oficially de-Christmassed. Took two days and two trips to the attic but I'm done. And my brain is long moved from red and green. To neon ;) And now to "Meer" which is German for "the sea" and also ryhmes with "mehr" which is German for "more". Get it? Mehrmeer. More sea.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Carmen K. who is Ms Inkystamp and who also happens to live a few towns over. Needless to say I didn't leave without picking up a couple of her stamp sets. Wanna meet two cards I've made with Mehrmeer?  First I revisited an old design.

And then I had to give the entire whale center stage. Funned it up with masking and some bokeh star spray! Did you see this card - it inspired me!

I think the stamp design is beautiful as is, but I took it up a notch by inking the stamp with three different blue tones for interest. Even took a wet brush to the blues to soften the lines a little.

Stay tuned for two more mehr Meer makes!

Such eye catching and beautiful CAS cards, both of them. Love the layout of the first one and the blue, with the white is so crisp looking.
Such a fun idea with the Bokeh effect on the second one. Love how you used the stars and Wow to that fabulous whale image and the tones of the blues look fabulous. Thanks again Maria for adding this unique and stunning card to the CAS Mix Up Gallery x.
