Mixed media... it's about texture, dimension and techniques... remember?
TEXTURE- although one-layer, I've created depth by applying some watercolor, stamping the grunge BG and then stamping the flowers
DIMENSION - gold embossing paste through a stencil and a Dymo label
TECHNIQUE- took a watercolor brush to the stamped flowers to soften them up a bit
Have you entered the challenge yet? C'mon, get messy with us ;) You've got two more weeks before the challenge closes.
Supplies for remember:
Paper: CS Bringmann
Stamps: BG Impression Obsession, flowers Impression Obsession

Great texture and colors on this Maria!
maria f. ... you are SO SMART. Subconsciously I know leaves, flowers and such are good picks for sympathy, but I never really put my finger on how they are all nature. I like how you've explained the elements of your card too. That gold embossing is amazing!!
LURVE it!!! :)
Love your leaf stencil..it is really the star of your card which is oh-so awesome. Another terrific inspiration teamie!
Oh, I love how the embossing paste looks... the black greeting strip looks great with those bright colors.
That gold embossing paste looks divine, Maria! Love this card!
How lovely, Maria ... so often sympathy cards are done in cool (and maybe even 'sad') colours ... I love that you did it in warm, comforting tones! Anita :)
