simon says stamp - outline clustered leaves gone white

I've one more make for you using the gorgeous Outline Clustered Leaves die from the latest release over at Simon Says Stamp called You are Loved. See it there in the photo - in white on Shari's red card.

Meet my white card.

distress inks
sequins

Here's a close-up.

Once again I've used bits of that PP pad that fell into my basket at the dollar store (Action, for those of you in Germany) ;) This time I've used some coral and some print with coral and lilac feathers just to add a touch of color to the card. I used the negative pieces of the Smile die cut glued to a white circle for my sentiment, and inked it ombre lilac.

To add interest to the BG panel I die cut the Online Clustered Leaves twice from cardboard and dry embossed a panel of Neenah 80 lb. CS. Adhered this panel askew to my lilac cardbase. I adhered only a segment of one white die cut vine, and only put glue on the stems to give that wispy feel.

Be sure to check out the release if you haven't, and all the makes with it in the gallery at Simon Says Stamp. I'm happy I got to have some "fun" with this new set. Thanks mucho, Simon.

simon says stamp - outline clustered leaves plus gold

I've another make for you. Did you see there's a blog hop happening right now with the latest release over at Simon Says Stamp called You are Loved?  I was lucky to receive a beautiful die to play with and today I have another creation for you. Thanks Simon!

Meet Outline Clustered Leaves. (You might remember her sister, Clustered Leaves.)

Meet my wispy card.

distress inks
gilding flakes

Here's a close-up. Dimension. Sparkle. White. Gold. Me likey.

I previously mentioned this PP pad that fell into my basket at the dollar store (Action, for those of you in Germany). This pad has this coral feather print - with gold foiling - and that motivated me to make a card with these leaves die cut from it. Then I selected a larger vertical sentiment with a positive message to  match the overall feel and inked it ombre.

Be sure to check out the release if you haven't, and all the makes with it in the gallery at Simon Says Stamp. I'm happy I got to have some "fun" with this new set.

guest designing at craft stamper TIMI

Here today to share with you a card I made for my TIMI Winners Guest Design over at Craft Stamper.

Many thanks to Trish and the design team. It's such a treat to be part of the inspiration post for this month's anything goes challenge. Remember, anything goes as long as there's stamping on your project. I am so happy to have been selected to join the DT today.

Now to my card. I made another card in the style of my winning card (this card).

Copic markers

Stamp. Mask. Repeat.

Colored with Copics and added stems with the border maker stamp and a negative die cut piece from my scraps. Voila!

simon says stamp - outline clustered leaves

The latest release over at Simon Says Stamp is called You are Loved and has hearts in every way, shape and form for you. I'm late to the party but I was soooo lucky to get a beautiful die to play with and today I have my first creation for you. Thanks Simon!

Meet Outline Clustered Leaves. (You might remember her sister, Clustered Leaves.)

Meet my card.

distress inks
pearlescent embossing paste
sequins

Here's a close-up. Texture. Sparkle. Shimmer. Pretty girly, eh?

It all started with the cheapo makeup brushes I bought at the supermarket. I created this BG using them and Victorian Violet, Milled Lavender and Aged Mahogany DI. Sprinkled with water and perfect pearls mix too.

Then there was this PP pad that fell into my basket at the dollar store (Action, for those of you in Germany). This PP matches this color scheme perfectly so I die cut the outline leaves from it. Before adhering the die cut, I die cut Clustered Leaves to make my own stencil. I applied the embossing paste through it.

When it was dry I adhered the outline branch, a couple of the leaf pieces and the die cut sentiment. It's dark gray actually. Some sequins add to the wispiness (is that a word?) of the design.

Be sure to check out the release if you haven't, and all the makes with it in the gallery at Simon Says Stamp. I'm happy I got to have some "fun" with this new set.

Have you seen our CUTplorations inspiration photo for January? It was my inspiration, as was the bokeh challenge at CAS Mix it Up. I decided to try bokeh on black cardstock with my neon pigment ink pads. This is what happens! BTW, here's a great video if you 've never given bokeh a try.

CUTplorations january

Hello 2019. Hello new challenge over at STAMPlorations CUTplorations and here's the
inspiration for January. Got your sunglasses handy?

So apparently neon is back for winter 2018/2019. Can't say as I've seen it in any stores around here, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for crafting with neon colors. Pair 'em up with black and my heart goes pitter patter.

Can't wait to see how this image inspires all of you. I went with the colors, ink smooshed in four strips like the photo, and dressed it up with some black and white die cuts...

STAMPlorations Grace in Each Step stamp (retired)
distress inks

I started by dabbing the inks on an acrylic block (Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers), spritzing them and pressing them onto my cardbase. Once that was dry I added the die cuts, substituting the stacked blooms for the "O". Added the heat embossed secondary sentiment on a snippet. Easy peasy. With dimension.

Will you join us for some die cutting fun over at the CUTplorations challenge? Do you enjoy neon? Remember, you can be inspired by anything in the photo, not just the colors.  Make a project based on the inspiration using at least one die cut and at least one STAMPlorations product. Your project might be chosen as the winner of a $15 GC to the shop. Check out how the CUTplorations DT was inspired by this month's photo here.

And don't forget about my STAMPlorations discount code STAMPGIRLMARIA for 20% off should you find yourself with some extra Christmas money ;) Thanks for coming by. See you in the gallery.

When you see our CUTplorations inspiration photo for January, you'll better understand my design ;)

Talk about an easy, peasy card. I swiped my Distress Inks across the card front, stamped the gal and then the sentiment and a bit of a border. Voila!
