the places you'll go (CFC, SSS)

Any other Dr. Seuss fans out there?  Took the "Oh the places you'll go" and ran with it.

Actually created a graduation card inspired by this idea - graphic and rainbow.  Cool.  Just add Dr. Seuss and I'm happy :)  Picked an interesting font for the PC generated sentiment, a plane from a stamp set which sometimes looks like it's flying upside down and Adirondack colors for the contrails.   TIP: I stamped the contrails using a strip from the red rubber "frame" from a sheet of rubber stamps I had to cut out myself.

Playing at CASual Fridays - #105 Mapquest  Check out all the fabby cards the DT came up with over there.  And at Simon Says Stamp where the theme is Transport.

Happy weekend.

Supplies you'll go places:
Paper: Bringmann, printer paper
Stamps: plane Artemio
Ink: Adirondacks
Tools:
Other: PC

That's a fabulous idea for a graduation/congratulation card, Maria! Love the font. Looks like the sky above our house most days (when we can see through the clouds). I have an iPad app to track the planes we see over the house, great fun. Is that sad?

I'm a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan and as far as "oh, the places you will go?" You will go straight into the winners circle again for this amazing card, my friend! Clever using the remnants of rubber, too! You = genius!!

This card is so wicked cool! The angles, the colors, the font you chose--it rocks! I love that there's just a hint of danger with the planes. ;) Great idea for stamping the contrails--you're always thinking of such clever ideas.
