Just one more thing. Did ya know that Levi Strauss was actually German? Yep.
Where is this going you may ask? Cath has a new challenge at Moxie Fab to use navy to "Cure the Winter Blues". OK. Don't have to ask me twice to use navy - blue jeans, ya know.
Decided to go for a one layer card. Didn't quite make it, but what can I say? It just happened.
Used a BG stamp for the floral circle. TIP: Instead of masking on your CS, mask on your BG stamp to be sure the image will be good around the edges. Check Mandi's tip here.
Put a mask over the stamped image and stamped the borders. Added lighter blue too to pep it up. The theme is "CURE the blues".
Wanted to try vellum butterflies after seeing Debby's uber-gorgeous card here. Do want to CASE her card one day soon.
Had stamped some CS with various BG stamps and punched hearts and circles from them, but decided to adhere just the one polka dot heart with pop dots.
Added some mini navy blue pearls and a clear embossed "smile".
Used punches for the circle, heart and butterflies so I am entering Less Is More's challenge Week 55.
Ahoi mateys.
