STAMPlorations inspiration #304

Welcome to another Tuesday inspiration posts from the STAMPlorations inspiration team girls.

Remember this tissue box? Rescued from the trash to inspire my cards this month...

Here's my next idea to add color to B/W stamping...

clear embossing paste
Stamp Market inks

Know how sometime a card's gotta happen quick? Well, this one doesn't ;)

But it's so cool! Add color a different way this time. Stamp the floral images. Apply clear embossing paste through a geometric stencil. Let dry (thus, not quick). Add ink over the dried paste which creates the geometric pattern of color. End up with cool shine over the still-white areas surrounded by a geometric pattern of ombre color. Fun, eh?

STAMPlorations inspiration #207

Back for a Tuesday inspiration from the STAMPlorations inspiration team where the team members feature stamps from one of our talented stamp designers.

We're showcasing Big Grins by Becca stamps. Becca's stamps are 10% off automatically this week (with an extra 20% off when you use my discount code STAMPGIRLMARIA).

This month, I 'm creating cards using PP that I discovered in my recent craft room organization!

clear embossing powder
distress ink
ribbon, button, twine

I used the emboss resist technique here - stamped the solid butterfly images onto PP and heat embossed them clear. Then I sponged Worn Lipstick DI over the PP. Trimmed the panel, adhered it to my cardbase and stamped the sentiment. Added the ribbon.

I've used this set here too if you'd like more inspiration.

You could win yourself a $10 GC to the store by leaving a comment on the March inspiration posts. Check out today's post for more inspiration here. Thanks for coming by :)
