I was cleaning up scraps a bit ago, including a paper towel I'd used when playing with watercolors, and I decided to make a feather card with it.
white embossing powder
silver thread
I crafted my sentiment with a couple other die cuts that were laying around and added a touch of silver metallic thread around one of the feathers for a wispy touch.

Very interesting card - I just love feathers, and I see that you do too! Thanks for the inspiration!
Super card (esp. using the kitchen roll as well) - and reminds me to use my own feathers stamps and dies here.
Hugs

great idea to use your colored paper towel by making them feathers
wonderful recycling - I too have used my mop up paper - but never die cut it - now I will need to try it
wonderful card

Great thinking on your part Maria for using the paper towel for the feathers. Waste not... Love them but what I really loved was the way you made your sentiment.
You always make such stylish cards with black, white and a touch of colour. They're more like works of art! xx
stunning card - very arty!!
The feathers really pop against the dark background. Thank you for joining The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday challenge.
