I've been playing more with this background stamp. I know it's called "kaleidoscope" and I know that means rings of color/shapes, but other ideas keep taking the forefront!
No Pinterest inspiration behind this one, but once I'd stamped the background offset three times using
Altenew Sea Shore inks (it was an experiment actually)
I took a look at this month's
Altenew Inspiration challenge and went from there, actually modeling my card on Lydia's recent card - green BG, pink flowers, hello sentiment.
Created a dreamy, out-of-focus kaleidoscope BG with my MISTI, moving my cardstock slightly before stamping with a new color. I used the three lightest ink colors, starting with the lightest. Each time I inked less of the stamp, and only haphazardly. Then I spritzed it with perfect pearls to give it a softer look. This then reminded me of
Persian Motifs so I die cut them from some watercolored scrap and heat embossed them platinum using
Persian Motifs.
I platinum heat embossed "hello" from
Super Script, inked the top and bottom edges of the panel and then adhered the die cut blooms.
