Have you ever snitched a swatch of wallpaper from the builder supply store to test it on your own walls before buying? Or, um, just to craft with?
Makes the perfect backdrop for a vibrant, large sentiment, right? Like this one from STAMPlorations Noteworthy. Just add some torn cardboard and vellum, stitching and a couple sequins.
Of course some red heat embossing, re-embossed with some glitter embossing powder doesn't hurt either.
Check out the other inspiration projects over at STAMPlorations. Feel like CASEing one of them? Then be sure to join us in the Inspiration CASE Playground.
I'm heading over to SSS Wednesday challenge where it's all about the Sentiments this week. And to Shopping our Stash #200 where it's about Big, Bold and Beautiful.
Thanks for visiting.

OMG - love this!
Wow! That really pops out at you. Honestly, I never realised how varied crafting and card making could be until I started reading your blog! Thank you! Xx
This is lovely Maria! Love all that great texture! Hazel xx
VERY COOL!! You always amaze me with your supplies and techniques; brilliant and fun! The red is so perfect against that wallpaper. And those large sequins are perfect for this card. Just love it!! Bev
No, never snitched wallpaper, just paint chips - cool card as always and I lo like those matching fingernails ;)
texture heaven!!
Love wallpaper! I have an arrangement with a paint store to get all their discontinued books. This is a nice project! Great fit for our Big, Bold, and Beautiful Challenge here at Shopping Our Stash!

that's cool! love the texture and the red is so powerful!
Haha, I wondered how you'd made that image! We went wallpaper shopping last week and DH was under strict instructions not to question why I was getting samples of brickwork paper and bleached wood paper (they're given freely over here). I've got some fab photography backdrops now ;)
What a great idea, Maria! Love, love LOVE the vellum sentiment with the great red embossing against the corrugated cardboard! WOW!! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesay challenge!
This is so artistic! I love how you did the sentiment, very original, and the pop of the red flower is quite stunning! I think I need to sub to your blog so I don't miss anything lol :)
So bold and beautiful! I love the sentiment and the red stitching with with that wonderful, graphic flower!
Stunning card Maria!
oh, this is cool!! I love that bright red!!!:)
Very clever Maria. Sometimes companies have old wallpaper sample books you can get for free. Must try this. I guess it is obvious I love the card and the creative ideas you used.
Hugs and Blessings

This is fab! I am the proud owner of several paint swatch samples - one of these days I'll actually make something with them instead of just collecting them!!!
Oh Maria... I am laughing so hard! NO - but now the whole of us will do just that! And ME already looking over my shoulder because of the big wad of paint swatches!!!

Thanks for joining the Shopping Our Stash crew for our "Big, Bold & Beautiful" challenge!!
This is amazing with all the different textures, Maria! So far, I've only snipped the colour paint stripes from them but will look out for this new idea!
Wow! Stunning and striking, Maria ... beautifully dressed wallpaper! Anita :)
OVER THE TOP amazing! I so love the way you layered the sentiment in RED! Fabulous.
Oh really!! Yes, on the question of wallpaper. This is great. Was expecting a revelation, just not that one. You inspire me to dig out the wallpaper samples. Hugz
