Welcome to day 4 of STAMPlorations spotlight week. Today we are showcasing The Bee's Knees: Newlyweds Extras and Sentiment Builders: Love. If a couple of those sentiments look familiar, maybe you saw them here ;)
First off the Newlyweds Extras. Today I'm sharing with you a CASE of myself. Remember these one-layer cards?
Well, one of the trends I'm calling for 2015 I'm calling "the illustrated look". So I've tried to capture that feel again with these stamps. What do you think?
Then I had the brilliant idea to make the diamonds sparkle.
Rock Candy Stickles worked great on the white card.
Wink of Stella, ahem, not so great. It seeped around the embossing and left a stain when dry :(
Must be some oil in there. Oh well. Thought I'd share that with you.
I think these are cute designs for one of those we're-getting-married-in-a-chic-old-barn kinda weddings. Know the ones I mean?

One of the other trends I don't see going anywhere in 2015 is watercolors. I achieved a watercolor look with distress inking through a mask on this card using heat embossed Sentiment Builders: Love. I think this design makes for a great card to send to a couple whose wedding you do not attend.
Bet ya didn't notice the slightly different fonts in the small sentiments. "Sending" and "to" are from Sentiment Builders: Christmas and New Year. Happy that those fonts work well together.
I'm joining the Ombre fun at Inkspirational #74.
As always, there are lots of prizes to be won - from comments left on the DT blogs and the STAMPlorations blog - and eye candy from the DT and our super special guest. Have a looksee.

Three lovely cards Maria, your inking on the third looks fabulous.
Beautiful, elegant cards Maria. The first card is so simple and that hint of color works perfectly.
You made very elegant cards. I like this style.
Wonderful cards! Love your CAS style ♥
I like the difference between the black and white inks on your 2 cards. I use Wink of Stella a lot so thanks for that tip.
I like the white card better than the Kraft car, but that ombre heart steals the show!
Love the ombre heart in nice colors and others are awesome too, thanks for sharing the tip!!!
These are fabulous :) I love the touch of pink and blue on ur cards, such a simple yet striking design !
wonderful cards!
The ombre heart is so beautiful! And, your illustration cards are sweet, too!
You 'illustrated look' trend is fabulous; and certainly one that I'd willingly give a go. Pretty, clean and simple. Your gorgeous love card is convincing me to revisit my current "off again" relationship with my distress inks and water-colouring. Perhaps I'll give them just one more chance *grin*. I'm extra thrilled to say: thank you for sharing your ombre-inspired gem in the Inkspirational gallery!
Hugs~c
oh ich mag dieses große Herz (3.Karte)
es strahlt so wunderbar da wird mir ganz warm ums herz

Love this style of cards and one - layer cards are always best when you have to send the card through the mail instead of handing it right to the Bride and Groom!! YOU did an excellent job with these cards and the little extras you added just made them sing!!! Hope you have a day that makes you feel like singing!!!!
Way to use of the images. Gorgeous sponging and colors on that 3rd card!
These are so cute!
3 beautiful cards, the kraft one is stunning with all the white on it.
Stunning cards! Great stamp place tn and colors in the last card.
You are exploding the internet with all your extraordinary makes the last several days, Maria! It's truly remarkable!! And you've made a card REBUS like I showed in my post on the 25th! I love that you did it brilliantly here and that you also did it back in November, again brilliantly!! You rock the REBUS!! Hugs, Darnell
