Today, we're putting the spotlight on Rosebuds, the stamp set designed by Shirley Bampton. We'll be picking one commenter to win this set so leave a comment here and on the rest of the STAMPlorations girls' posts for a chance to win the set.
Here's what I did, first using the stem of the single bud and the leaves.
Thinking outside the box, I was. And totally inspired by an amazing card I saw here. I stamped the "branches". I inked up the reverse side of the leaf stamp and stamped first and second-generation images. Then I spritzed it all with a water/Perfect Pearls mix to make it bleed a bit. Plus it gets a great shimmer. Finally I flipped the stamp back to the "correct" side and added a few of the leaf outlines too. The sentiment comes from Sentiment Builders: Christmas and Sentiment Builders: Celebrate and was stamped with Memento brown ink, then offset heat embossed clear.
Then I ventured even further out of the box and had some fun with those lines. Ready?
Graphic and rainbow colors. Makes me happy. That sweet sentiment from the set and a touch of heart border in vellum topped with a gold heart finishes it off.
I won't keep you any longer. Thanks for stopping by. Now hop along.

Love that you focused on the smaller images! You go girl~
Both of your card are fab! Love the "rainbow" card thought, looks awesome.
Had to look twice to see where the stamps were, such a great use of the stamps. :)
You are SOOO creative! I love the way your mind works and how you see different things. That fall card is just spectacular with is warm, rich colors!
How fun that you used a different stamp from the set. Uniquely creative!
Words can't express just how much I LOVE that falling leaves card. So perfect!
two such different cards, but both stunning. I think I fall for the bright one made from the stems- it is so clever! Love bright colours- very uplifting
Both cards are awesome!!! Very clever, too!
I'm absolutely in love with your autumn leaves card, Maria! I just love those subdued fall colors at the moment. However, your abstract interpretation of the flower stems (or is it a bale of straw?) is so clever. It took me some time to realize that you stamped them to the letters XOXO, but then I was even more amazed.
Both of your cards are lovely. Love the XOXO made out of the stems.
Love your out-of-the-box thinking! The shimmery autumn leaves are fabulous, and your XOXO card - inspired!!
Hi Maria. Great out-of-the-box thinking. Love how you used the reverse of the leaf stamp in your first card, and your second one is just so inspired. This is where I realize, that I'm sounding like Shirley, must be the Northern Air! LOL Have a fab day! hugs Monika xxx
My favourite would have to be the rainbow card.... love the colours.... some ideas are forming now :)

Definitely, thinking out of the box, you make them so interesting. I love how you used all the small stamps in both of your creation. Love the autumn feel on the first one and the second one Really makes the graphics line stand out with those vellum hearts!

The second card is very cool!
Love how you were thinking out of the box! Amazing creations.
Seriously creative? Tick. Out of the box? Tick. Fantastic? Tick. Brilliant take on Heather's card, Maria, you've captured the glow so beautifully! Oh my, rainbow colours, graphic lines, delicate vellum ... sigh ... be still my beating heart! Anita :)
There must be something about rainbow. Colours probably, but the vellum hearts and a little red one, make it stand out and be gorgeous.
Autumn is warm (if it is not rainy), I love colours and the whole placement of stampes on a card.
Great job.
With just those two tiny stamps - you have created a gorgeous fall scene!
So clever and creative. Love your colors too. TFS both cards.
