Presenting the sketch...
And meet "Ms. Camera Shy" (this card was incredibly difficult to photograph)...
BTW, DD is not a lush. (That would be DS ;)))
If you look closely you'll see that I used one of the VIGNETTE: Grunge Floral Strips and stamped it in pastel pigment inks down the right side, before adhering my heat-embossed-onto-vellum sentiment (from VIGNETTE: Chevron and Arrows).

Very cool and sweet card! Love it!
Fabulous! Love the dipped numbers, and the bright cocktail glass stands out nicely against the soft pastel grunge strips.
Congratulations to your DD! Such a fun, cheerful card... And by the way I love the way her bedroom wall sounds like! :)
I love the way you have used the washi tape stamps and I really would like that cocktail myself!!
Ahh, that's why! I wondered about the "16" paired with the margarita in your card, Maria. Love the background in pastel and the embossed sentiment. That sticker is perfect!
Perfect card for your DD, as well as amazing inspiration for this sketch! I'm so in love with my STAMPlorations stamps I play with nothing else, lately! Thanks for the inspiration!

I already swooned over this when I saw it on the DT blog - now I can finally tell you how fantastic it is!!!! Love how your mind work - Prost and Happy Birthday to your daughter!
And guess what - I finally cleaned up some stuff today and came upon the envelope of your birthday card - and guess what I found in there - well, YOU know - those lovely sequins - Thank you SOOOO much, I am glad I checked the envelope.....
What a fabulous birthday card for your DD! You almost wonder if making it legal at a younger age makes them drink more responsibly. In Canada the legal drinking age for all beer, wine and spirits is 19! Backt o your card the die cut drink is very cool.
What a fun Sweet 16 Birthday card for your girl! I had forgotten that the legal drinking age was only 16. With the US being 21, Canada 19 and you guys 16, one does wonder how that impacts things.
.... die cocktailkarte ist genial! da kommt gleich sommerlaune auf :) herzliche waldgrüsse, dunja
Wonderful birthday design Maria.
Hugs Diane
Absolutely beautiful Darnell!
Thank You~
Hi Maria. They're only legal until 10pm I think. Delicious card, very tempted to get a drink myself. LOL Have a great day! hugs Monika xxx
