10 to go (Fusion, CTS)

I was psyched that Kelly G. last week chose my pink, orange and yellow invite  as her winner at Fusion. I'm revving up the Party Time die again this week for two invites that were inspired by the current Fusion/(CAS)E this Sketch challenge. I "fused" the photo and sketch again.

Deepti M. (DT) made the sweetest card, which inspired me to go watercolor instead of literal with the banner element on the sketch. Actually added some stitching here too.

On this one I opted to go with the butterfly, which, keeping to the natural feel, led to the Poppystamps sprig in lieu of the stitching. (My newest die and may I say I'm infatuated - see, Donna M., I really own dies other than Party Time ;)) I actually like this card better (there's something about negative die cuts that gets me every time ;))

Hooking up to (CAS)E this Sketch #81 too. Thanks for stopping by. Are you watching the World Cup? Germany is up today. Wish us luck! Of course on Monday I'll be rooting for the USA too!

Supplies:
Paper:  CS Bringmann, vellum, old book
Stamps:
Ink :
Tools: die Dieversions, sprig Poppystamps, punch Martha Stewart
Other: watercolors, sequins

Well, I won't be rooting for England :( Love the gold with the watercolours.

what a pretty card Maria! love the die cut sentiment out of the gold circle and the wonderful splatter! We're watching the soccer - I don't have a fav team - I like to see them all play the games - although since I'm from the US - I hope they do well! Will be watching them tomorrow!

Oooh, I think these may be my favorite "PARTY TIME" cards! LOVE the watercoloring--the streaks and spatters--and the simplicity. I'm not a World Cup fan but I'll be rooting for your countdown! ;)

This one is definitely my favourite! I think you should stick them all on the wall and take a photo before you send them out. I was going for Aust in the World cup and they sure gave the Netherlands a scare, but we always suspected they wouldn't get passed the 1st round!

Love these two cards, the watercolors look fab on both. As for the World Cup... I don't like football but of course I like my country, so I wish that we can move on, at least a little bit more. Yet, let there be a fair win, whoever they be.

Keep 'em coming, maria f! I'm still amazed you're making individual party invitations. It's difficult for me to comprehend ... kinda like making different Christmas cards I guess. Yes, I do love the non-literal watercolor "banner" which is perfect for the sketch. That sprig die is new to me. Seems like that would get a ton of use! Thanks for playing with Fusion and CAS(e) this Sketch!

Oh goodness: swoon-inducing gorgeous, this pair! The colours, the design, the butterfly...totally love these! I think I'm one of few people not watching soccer (I know, I know...) but I am beyond excited for Tour de France, starting July 5th!!
