How fun to win a stamp from the lovely Loll that is actually one I would purchase myself, Penny Black's Full Bloom. It just arrived and I had to hit my craft room and test it out. Three times. Learning curve, ya know.
Numero uno. Tapping Distress Ink pads onto the stamp and spritzing with water before stamping. Not thrilled with the coverage. It's a cling stamp and kinda hard to see the ink on the red rubber ...
Numero dos. Distress Markers directly onto the stamp, then spritzed and stamped. Getting better. I should mention that I stamped a second generation image each time too. And used sentiments from Inkystamp. Used Fired Brick, Spiced Marmelade and Wild Honey, but the contrast still wasn't doin' it for me, though my Mom would probably be all over these orange hues ...
Numero tres. Maybe it's just that I'm a bold and bright gal at heart, but I had to pull out the purple Zigs and color up the stamp. More contrast maybe - not sure why - but now I'm happy.
Vielen dank, liebe Loll! And I finally, FINALLY gave my Gelli plate a test drive. OMG it is such fun!!!!! Took one NBUS item (the plate) and created a Mt. NBUS of prints! Geesh! Have to make at least one card for Darnell's challenge before it ends.
I'm joining these challenges with today's cards:
NBUS over at Darnell's
Bastel Traum #38 - Birthday (dos and tres are actually going to a friend and her mother!)
Craft Stamper TIMI - Anything Goes with a Stamp
Cards and More #153 - Spring

Three fabulous cards, I love the soft colours of the first ones but the vibrancy of the third one is simply stunning - great choice of colours.

Loved all the three of your cards..I love this technique very much! :)
Suchi xx
Wonderful all the three CAS! Love these soft colours and the technique!
So meat to see your creative process. I think they are all lovely.
Gorgeous cards, all three of them. Yes the third I am favouring ...just slightly and maybe it is because of the contrast and that particular stamp. Thank you for the inspiration.
So beautiful!! Really love the colors, but of course I love purples!! :) Wonderful technique too!! Thanks for sharing!
Love all of these, watery colours and flowers, wining formula! :D
Fabulous, all three of 'em (my favourite is the middle one - they're my colours). Hehe, can't wait to see some of your Mt Gelli NBUS!
These are so beautiful...I love them in all the wonderful colors you choose.
Beautiful cards Maria, all three! The second is my favorite, love the undefined edges and, like your Mother, I love the colors too.
The Gelli plate really is a lot of fun to play with. I made a faux gelli plate at home about two years ago, I still have it and make a mess every now and then, but it didn't turn out oh so well... wrong kind of sugar, I guess.
Btw, I found Elmer's rubber cement in my country :D and boy, it stinks!!!
Wish I could reply to you directly, Cris... I'll tell my Mom ;) And no kidding that rubber cement stinks. Keep that lid closed!
Love all three cards Maria. Have to say (and this is weird because I am a PINK person), I love the middle one the best. Something about how the colours flowed. But like I said, they are all BEAUTIFUL! xx
Tolle Karten - ich sollte mich auch mal an so etwas rantrauen!!
Ganz liebe GrĂ¼sse Elisabeth
Oh my goodness gorgeousness, Maria!!! Since I am an Orange LOVer! I choose numero dos!!! Perhaps Mom and I are related? All three just so pretty!
=]
Love all 3 cards here Maria, but the last one is simply stunning, great color choice.
I'd be over the moon happy with every one of these gorgeous cards, Maria ... soft, delicate, dreamy and so delicious! Couldn't choose a fave from the three colourways ... each is beautiful in it's own wonderful way! Hugs, Anita :)
Beautiful cards so delicately coloured !
