STAMPlorations September Stamp Release Blog Hop

It's stamp release month at STAMPlorations! The other STAMPlorations girls and I are sharing projects we created featuring the new stamps. Visit and leave a comment on all the stops on the hop for a chance to win.

THREE (3) lucky hoppers randomly drawn from the designers' blogs will each win a stamp set of their choice from the new release and ONE (1) lucky hopper randomly drawn from the STAMPlorations blog will win a $25 gift certificate to use towards products in the STAMPlorations shop. You have until Monday, September 15, 11:55 p.m. PDT (GMT -700) to comment here and on my fellow designers' posts for a chance to win. Winners will be announced on the STAMPlorations blog on Thursday, September 18.

Here's what I did with that lovely poinsettia (front and center in the graphic).

Some Lipstick Red ink from Simon Says and a couple masks allowed me to create the bunch of poinsettias which so remind me of a display I have in my kitchen every year. I buy several small plants and place them in a big plastic bowl whose outside I have covered with pine cones. Talk about bang for your buck. But I digress.

I dabbed some yellow ink onto the centers, fussy cut the bottom edge and adhered it flush at the top and raised along the bottom edge. Onto the deep green cardbase which reflects the green leaves of the poinsettia I gold embossed my sentiment.

Is Christmas really only 105 days away? Jeez - I just got home from summer vacation!

If you're interested, the new STAMPlorations stamps will be available to buy in the shop during the hop. The Christmas bundle is $30 (15% off)

Hop along...

Elegant, classic, festive, beautiful - I could come up with many more adjectives for this stunner! Love the way you mounted the poinsettia panel onto the green card base.

Absolutely love the PP (poinsettia panel) you created, the stamps are beautiful.
I know what you mean, I just got home from summer vacation too. Usually we leave on vacation much earlier, but not this year, and we were lucky because the weather was much better than the previous months... so I'm still in summer mode. Do poinsettias make a good match with sunshine and beach? :)

Lovely card! It's always nice to know that beautiful cards don't need hours of coloring to be stunning.
