Cuz CASual Fridays challenge #116 was to use chevrons and sequins.
I missed the deadline. Nothing new there, eh? But I stamped my butt off so I'm playing over at Simon Says Stamp "Use a Stamp" too.
I decided the design could work for our friend who is going through chemo treatments too. Changed the colors up to be a bit more masculine and put the scene on an incline to show the uphill struggle.
Enjoy your weekend. We're loving fall break over here. And maybe you wanna cross your fingers for DS.... and for me if I end up in a car with him driving soon ;)

These are both awesome! I love that cute little car! Best wishes for your friend going through chemo and good luck to DS (and you!)
Kiss goodbye to the car! I like how you changed the design for for your friend, and how the design works so well for both circumstances.
These are perfect. What a creative way to use sequins! Love the thought you put into these cards, too (especially the incline). Bummer about the deadline...I miss them all the time, too.
Oh, DRAT!!! So bummed you missed the deadline, i LOVE your use of sequins and chevrons! So fresh and perfect for a new car driver. And it seems congrats are in order for your son too! Now you can send him out for groceries and other errands : )
Again, your imagination and design talents just awe-maze me, Maria! Congratulations to DS on passing!! (It is so fabulous that he can run errands for you now!!)
Good luck to your friend! Your card for him is just wonderful!
Fabulous little car, Maria, love the cityscape background and the chevron road ... obviously did the trick for your DS! Anita :)

Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

So did you have to create a sympathy card or a celebratory card after the test?? I'm sure this card was great encouragement - meaningful but with a fun and quirky car too!
