Spoiler alert - I love this card and I'm sayin' so myself.
Perhaps it has to do with the Up the Happy stamp set from Essentials by Ellen - how can you not love it? Or the touch of purple with warm colors. Or the über-CAS design.
Anyhoo here's my entry for the 200th celebration over at CASology. Love what those ladies churn out every week!
I took the stamp set and a cardbase. Stamped the sentiment as my background with light gray pigment ink. Then I stamped two clouds and gave them a purple wash. After heat embossing the butterfly, I watercolored and fussy cut it, adhering it with foam adhesive. Rounded corners were the finishing touch. Ahhh, that yummy shine :)
This is also my entry for Stage 3 of Make Five of CASometry at Anna K.'s blog. We are to use the same set as the focal point of five cards. You can see my last two here and here.
I'm also joining the fun at Less is More, where STAMPlorations is sponsoring this month's challenges. The theme is of #279 is purple this week.
ETA: Also adding to AAA Cards where it's about CAS and watercolor. Don't have to ask twice. Check out the graphic, it's even purple!
Appreciate your visit. Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
