I pulled out one of my favorites, Vignette: It's your Day, lovingly referred to as "wonky cake" by me ;) My sentiment is from The Bee's Knees World Birthday Cakes.
Inspired by my cardmaking hero's ink smooshing, I was. Heat embossed the cake with Leaf Zing embossing powder. Then smooshed Fossilized Amber, Shabby Shutters and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks. Added a strip of washi up top and adhered the watercolor panel to a cardbase covered with a PP from Amy Tangerine's Plus One 12x12 pad. You may notice I ran a yellow inkpad around the edges of the PP for a little more funk on this funky card.
Want to give ink smooshing a try. It's fun. CASE my card and hook up at the Inspiration CASE Playground before October 5th. There are prizes ;) And stop by tomorrow for another ink smooshed lovely.

I've never tried ink smooshing - don't as yet, have any distress inks.... I know this needs to be remedied now! Xx

Um, girlfriend, YOU were doing ink smooshing in 2013... remember your "smile" camera card? A huge inspiration and fav of mine. This card is TOTAL Maria card and I love it!!!!!!! Just love wandering around your archives...just so much unique and unexpected!!! You are a card hero!!! Xo
