bloggiversary thanks (SCS)

Time flies when you're having fun!

Took a while for me to take the plunge and start a blog, but it's been a great year.  To those of you who  have visited my cards and made me smile with your comments, "Vielen Dank".  What a wonderful world of cardmaking-loving-blogging-creative-souls there are out there in blogland!

I appreciate your visits - followers and others.  It's nice to know that you like my work now and again, and that I may in some way inspire you to make a card that will make someone happy.  That makes me happy!
This is for all of you.  (And for the Love Fest 2013K Challenge to use a die at SCS which is sponsored by The Greeting Farm. C'mon - you didn't really expect a card without a challenge, did ya?)

And I've put together a little something for you if you're interested. Some metallic peel offs, a Penny Black cling stamp, some Claudine Hellmuth foam stamps and a Shell pigment ink pad from Amuse.

I recently had to pick my favorite card of mine.  It wasn't an easy task.   I'd love to see your favorite card of yours.  Maybe you know immediately or you might have to give it a day's thought, but please leave a link to it in my comments section.  I'll pick my favorite (yeah, totally subjective here folks) and announce a winner on March 20th.  So raise your glass with me... Here's to another good year of happy cardmaking.  Prost! :)

Supplies thanks:
Paper: kraft, white CS American Crafts
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink :Distress Ink, pigment inks Aladine
Tools: die Memory Box, sewing machine

  6. Happy anniversary, Maria!! You are such a pro, I never would have thought it had only been a year. I love this card of yours with its colorful sentiment and fun stitching.

Here's one of my favorites. I chose to share it here today because it reminds me of you. I created it for a challenge where we were instructed to 'Think Outside The Box". Yeah... I went literal. ;) http://www.flickr.com/photos/madcatink/7749269014/in/photostream/ (No need to include me in the drawing as I recently won one of your prizes.)

  7. Congrats, Maria!!! I don't comment as often as I should, but I do love your blog! I don't think I follow anyone who tries the variety of techniques that you do! And I find that VERY inspiring!!! How about if I share a few of my favorites of YOURS??? I have 3...and this was NOT an easy task!!!...the 'Winter Wonders' card in January with the big holly leaves,...the little bitty black bird silhouette in front of your 'water color' 'window' in October, and the 'Bat on a Wire' in October...so many other great ones...I almost hate to narrow it to 3!!!!;) I don't need any goodies...just wanted to say how much I appreciate your inspiration! Keep up the great work!

  9. As always I'm a fan of every card you make. And this one is a fave of mine too! It's beautiful.

Here's a fave of my own cards...only because it's not the kind of card I can normally make and this one turned out like I saw it in my fool head ;) lol

  15. Happy anniversary on your blog life. I came to your blog from Moxie Fab World and looked through all the cards you created from the beginning up to this day. It's amazing to see how you executed your creativity on your cards and how your style has evolved.

I just started my blog journey this year, January, so do not have many cards to take a look at. But I would like to share one card that becomes my favorite:
