STAMPlorations inspiration #65

Three cheers for International Women's Day! #onedayiwill (One day I will learn to color with Copics ;) Ready for another dose of inspiration with STAMPlorations goodies?

I've been giving the cheater's watercolor background a go. So easy when you scribble with Distress Markers and then spritz with water.

You can catch a peek of the BG in the smaller photo. I've got a Spotlight tutorial coming up to show you how I've ghosted with a stencil on the "watercolor" BG.

To finish off my birthday card I returned to a favorite design element - heat embossing on messy vellum and messy stitching it to my cardbase. I used Winged Things. A die cut sentiment finished off my card.

Check out the bright and beautiful inspiration from the DT here and don't forget to leave a comment to be in the running for a GC.

I'm joining the fun challenges at:
SSS Monday - Make your Own Background (great challenge!)
SSS Wednesday - Touchy Feely (heat embossing, stitching, glitter CS)
WOW! Embossing Powder - Anything Goes
Stempelkueche - Stitched

Oooo, I love this! So you can use distress markers to make watercolor background? I never thought of that! And heat embossing on vellum is just amazing (I'm so glad I finally figured it out!). That makes this card simply stunning!
