STAMPlorations summer release - brave one


Welcome to day 4 of the STAMPlorations Summer Release. Today it's all about Brave One from Shery Russ.

Those single roses had my CAS-loving heart wanting to make a border. So I did. And fussy cut it. And added PP with the heat embossed sentiment to the inside. Then I die cut a window from the front and pepped it all up with a splash of sequins.

For my next card, I finally gave a technique from Yana S. a try and it was love at first pencil stroke. Stamped and heat embossed the vines, keeping the placement of the die cut sentiment in mind. Colored a few parts of the images with Prismacolors. Added the die cut, stacked and heat embossed sentiment and finally Nuvo drops. (The colors in the second photo are truer!)

I just love the smoothness of those blended colors though the card is not typical "me" ;)

    Great cards, Maria. I love the combination of bright colours in your gorgeous "Bravo" card. Having those vines trail from the die-cut sentiment and adding the sweet butterflies really makes this unique card shine. Thanks so much for joining our Happy Little Stampers July Challenge.

    GREAT cards! I especially like the top card! I like how you have the flowers on the bottom edge and then halfway cut to make them look like they are hanging! Very cool!!

    Love the die cut that frames the sentiment.
    The colors go together so well.
