Thanks Amy Tangerine. Saw a pic of a DIY project on your Instagram feed and my dilemma of what to create for a 1st birthday card was solved.
And thanks Mama Elephant. Found the perfect sentiment for this little Costa Rican guy in your Big Words stamp set.
Muy facil. Grabbed the SSS Lots of Dots stamp set and various fabulous Adirondack dye inks. PC-generated a "1", traced it onto post-it tape and masked my cardbase. Then stamped to my little heart's content.
When all was dry, I removed the mask and heat embossed the sentiment (the inside reads HB2U from the same ME set). Finished it off with some spritzers of Perfect Pearls/water mixture. Can't get enough of that stuff. It gives the final project such a great finish!
