who wants mehrmeer?

Did you see my last post? I recently had the pleasure of meeting Carmen K. who is Ms Inkystamp and who also happens to live a few towns over. Needless to say I didn't leave without picking up a couple of her stamp sets.

I created two cards with Mehrmeer and here I've combined the sentiments from it with images from a new-to-me-but-oh-how-wonderful Korallenriff from Charlie und Paulchen. Ready for a walk on the beach? I'm so in love with this first card... Used two red tones for the crayfish.

And then I had to pair the starfish with the sentiment that reads "in my heart I'm barefoot". Funned it up with masking and some "sand" made with an ancient texture stamp. And I felt the upper left corner needed something so it got two fun scraps tacked on.

Let me tell you, these stamp designs are so beautiful. If you need a classy ocean life stamp set...

  2. I can see why you picked these stamps up! They are amazing!! I love how you've used them, too. That lobster (or is it a crayfish?..) looks amazing; your reds are perfect. And your beachy card starfish is simple and lovely. Two great cards. Love 'em. Bev
