STAMPlorations 5th birthday

There's a month-long party going on to celebrate five years of STAMPlorations! Have you checked it out yet? Seems like we were just having the 4th birthday celebration. And now Shery has two littles in the family, a huge, fabulous DT to organize and she still continues to delight us with new products. Congratulations, Shery! I still say you're the Energizer bunny ;)

In celebration of Birthday #5 Shery has come up with over $500 in prizes - a wishlist linky, a CASEing challenge, commenting -  you must check out the main blog if you haven't yet. All month long the DT will be sharing some of their favorite past projects as well as new creations. Today it's my turn on the blog.

I've got four projects to share with you today, so let's get to it. Since our challenge for you this month is to CASE a STAMPgirl, I chose three of my favorite birthday projects from the past where I did some CASEing. And I CASEd a current card of a fellow DT member too.

First off, way back when my love affair with the wonky cake and random stamping started (I just didn't know it yet)...

And then there was this shaker card with a floating cupcake. I was CASEing the incredible Julie E.

Maybe you remember this more recent make where I was trying out a watercolor + Copic technique like Kelly L. does...

For my new project I had to CASE Carol M.'s Just a Note card from this post. You may recall it with a dry embossed white panel, a gorgeous dragonfly and a striking black sentiment strip. Keeping those items in mind I created this birthday card.
Birthday Bash stamp
watercolors
white embosing powder

See the dry embossed impressions on the white panel? I fussy cut and foam mounted the cake.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have I inspired you to CASE one of these cards for the challenge? For a better idea of what we mean by "CASE", check out this post. Be sure to visit the STAMPlorations blog all month long for loads of inspiration. And did I mention prizes ;)? Here is the post with all the deets.

I'm joining the fun at CAS on Friday - Embossing and AAA Cards - 4th Birthday Bash
