neat and tangled release - so fly

Howdy and welcome to some special programming! Today is Day 1 of the June Neat & Tangled release countdown and I'm joining the talented DT this week with my creations with these fun new products!

Today we are showcasing the So Fly stamp set and matching dies. This set reminded me of children's book illustrations so that's the direction I went.

Heat embossed and watercolored the BG, the plane and the sweet little clouds. Kept the colors all very light and neutral except for the plane. Added some silver shimmer to the metal of the plane and also to a scrap which I heat embossed the sentiment on. Used varying heights of adhesive to adhere the die cuts. Can't you just hear that engine and the animals squealing with glee?


And then, because I was infatuated with the sweet little birdie in the set, I had to watercolor him and his bunting too. Cuz the card's so über-CAS, I decided to add some wispy threads hanging down from the banner.

    These are both so adorable!!! Love the background on the first and the soft colors. But the second one is just too cute!! Love how the sweet little bird is dragging the banner along behind him.
