Well I can do all of the above - minus symmetric, that is!
It's very hard to catch in the photo, but the sentiment sticker and the bit of sheer fabric with stars on it (in a nod to all the textiles) are both mirrored gold in a nod to the mirror. Isn't that pink luscious - pink, purple and orange Dylusions ink smooshing happened for that.
But I decided to make a less busy BG so made a second card.
Kept this one super CAS, just coloring a scrap with Copic RV04 and heat embossing half of the sentiment ("birthday" is on the inside). And the row of hearts is die cut from silver mirrored CS.
Besides linking these CAS cards to Card Concept #75, I'm joining the fun at AAA Cards, Stempelkueche and The Flower Challenge. Happy Birthday AAA Cards!!!
Beautiful interpretation !! Love it :)
ReplyDeleteModern and Beautiful ! I thought its vellum on first card, cool idea to use sheer fabric.
ReplyDeleteOh...these are so pretty! Love the beauty and softness of each card. Thank you so much for playing along with us at The Card Concept.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are delicious and beautiful! Loving that little strip of negative hearts on the second and the background brushy pink on the sentiment. Thanks for joining in with AAA Cards 3rd birthday celebrations.
ReplyDeleteBoth wonderful cards. Super designs and the colours are fabulous xx
ReplyDeleteI totally love both of your cards but I think your first one is my favorite. Not just because of the design but also because of the gold accents. It adds a bit more warmth. Nonetheless I'm glad to see you participate at Stempelküche challenge with the second one. Thanks so much for playing along.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card, love the design. Thanks for joining our birthday celebration at AAA Cards!
ReplyDeleteBeide Karten sind wunderschön, Maria! Wie immer :) die erste gefällt mir auch ein klein wenig besser, aber beide sind sehr cas und trotzdem sehr elegant, toll gemacht.
