STAMPlorations inspiration #69

It's inspiration time at STAMPlorations!

Told you I was inspired recently by lotsa cards over at the Share the Love week at Winnie and Walter. They're sharing the love with Pinkfresh Studios and I happen to have some Pinkfresh Up in the Clouds PPs and they are a blast to work with.

I created today's card inspired by Kelly's card from this post.

Used these stamp sets:
Houses
HousesExtras
Art Marks
Pretty straight forward. Some stamping on the focal panel. Some stamping on the cardbase. PP on the cardbase. A couple die cuts (Big, Bold and Friends and Essentials: Audrey) and a pop of glitter washi tying in with the "sparkle" sentiment to finish it off.

One little technique trick... I used the reverse of the house stamp, inked it up with pink pigment ink, and used that row of circles stamp from Art Marks to kiss it giving it a pattern. After kissing each time, I stamped off onto my cardbase. See those circles peeking out behind the panel? Pretty frugal efficient, eh?

Not bulky at all, but still lots of interest thanks to the glittery elements and die cuts. Even prettied up the inside, making this a birthday card for a girlfriend.

You can see the rest of the DT's beautiful projects here.

A little reminder... Leave comments on my four Winnie and Walter Leading Lady posts (you can find them in the sidebar) or on my birthday post  if you want to be in the running for my giveaways!

ETA: I'm hooking this pastel card up at the March Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesday.

  13. maria f., you never fail to disappoint with your tips and tricks ... the fact that you actually USED the ink that you kissed off the house stamp is the ultimate in efficiency. LOVE IT. You rock! Also love your glitter washi holding the panel to the card (nuts about that panel die, I could use it on every card). I really enjoyed seeing your card : )
