PTI march blog hop

I'm hopping with the Papertrey Ink March hop based on the inspiration photo above. Won't keep you long, there's lots to check out in the gallery.

The elements which caught my eye were the fern (cuz I have Meadow Greens) and that soft pink bloom off to the side (so I decided to use Year of Flowers: Violet. Then I noticed the graphic shapes and lastly the tiny butterfly (Love Lives Here) down beneath the plate.

Wrapping the thread around the panel was a nod to the textiles in the photo. Thanks for stopping by. Happy hopping.

I'm playing at Kathy R's 30 Day Coloring challenge
And at SSS February Work it Wednesday where it's about Florals and SSS Wednesday where it's Anything Goes.

  21. I think you've started something new?! Wrapping thread around the panel for a background! Love it! More graphic than a nest of thread (which is also nice, but this is edgier). Regardless, this is one gorgeous card, maria f.
