pin-sights

A quick post - gotta get out and enjoy the beautiful sunshine! Hope it's lovely in your neck of the woods too.

Have you seen the new Pin-Sight challenges at Ellen Hutson? This time around it's based on a mood board and this is it.

How trendy is this photo? I'd take any of those rooms! I was enticed by the floral pillow on the white bed and had to go with that.

Now a requirement of the challenge is to use product from the Essentials by Ellen line. I have several dies, but only one stamp set. This one. Notice the arrows pointing to individual stamps...

Now can you find those stamps on my non-Christmas card?

Where are those ornaments? Well take the longer one, flip it over and stamp it five times, overlapping the hanger part in the middle and you get the pink blooms. The red bloom was made the same way with the rounder ornament. To get the flower centers, I inked up only the round portion of the round ornament with red ink and stamped it!

Where's the snowflake? Well flip it over, adhere it to an acrylic block and stamp it twice, offseting it slightly with a bronze color and you get the bronze blooms.

Where's the pine cone? See the small chartreuse leaves? Stamped 'em first with the reverse and then the normal side of the stamp.

Even the snowflakes made an appearance... doubling as berries!

I spritzed the whole card front with a bronze Perfect Pearls/water mixture and die cut the M from glitter CS. Added a charcoal frame to set the monogram off a bit too.

I used Avery Elle pigment inks for this card. Enabled by Julie E., I was.

The inside has a glitter Essentials by Ellen "congrats" die cut and the words "you did it" from PTI. DD is taking her written driving test tomorrow ;)

I'm joining the Make Your Own Background challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.
