bye bye 2014

Not at all happy that my last card of the year is a sympathy card. And for someone too young. For someone who lost his short battle with cancer the day after Christmas. For someone who made one of our favorite Spatburgunder.

But happy that I stumbled upon Melissa's MIM over at Papertrey to help me along.

I used Rustic Cream CS, stamped the WMS pine branches around the edges and then one on a die cut Mat Stack. Die cut and gold dipped a Spellbinders pine cone. Heat embossed my sentiment from PTI Cutting Garden.

I'm hooking up at:
Papertrey MIM #195 - A la carte
AAA Cards #31 - Use a little gold game
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes

Here's hoping the new year will be happier... Hugs everyone.

  16. I'm so sorry for your loss, Maria. We, too, had a major loss: my father passed away on Dec. 30th (after 9 days on life support), my parents' 56th wedding anniversary. Our lives are changed...Your card: beautiful, gentle, lovely and infused with love!
    Hugs~c
