I may still be barefoot on the shores of Lake Huron, but I do enjoy the thought of fall approaching. There are still plenty of wine festivals, but you don't have to worry so much about sweat dripping down your back ;)
Here's a card I made with fall colors and leaves.
You may recall the rules of the game at MMCC - use stamps and ink and texture, dimension and/or technique.
Stamps - the sentiment.
Ink - lots. On the focal panel and card base.
Texture - not much real texture here, just implied.
Dimension - the angled panel and the sentiment panel on foam adhesive.
Technique - used a die to make leaf masks. Sponged the leaves through the mask and then inked a pattern on the leaves through a stencil.
Are you in the mood for fall? If so, give a mixed media card a try and hook it up at the MMCC Challenge #3. Be sure to check out the design team work. LOTS of eye candy for you.
Thanks for your visit.

Awesome! So much to applaud on this card, from the 'mixed media' elements, to the lovely maple leaves (or so they appear to me, and being Canadian, I love 'em), to the angled panel and the sponged background. Pretty, eye-catching, striking! Wish I had more 'ingredients' because your card is sure fanning the flames to try mixed media! Lake Huron? Sounds like you're a long way from home....
