metallic on a limb (LIM, CFC)

Sharing a CAS card for two challenges.

I've sure gotten my money's worth out of this Sizzix Bigz Die - Tim Holtz Bird Branch.  I've used the branch so often (like here) and even the branch with bird a few times (like here).

Playing here:
Less is More - #149 Metallic plus one color (well I've got colored metallic, hope that works)
CASual Fridays - #122 Out on a limb.  Yep.

Thanks for visiting.  Hope your holiday preparations are going well.  Our tree is up and decorated. House nearly decorated.  Definitely have to get a couple presents out in the mail today.  Cookies call...  Presents need to be wrapped...

Supplies :
Paper: CS Bringmann, black American Crafts
Stamps: PTI
Ink: Versafine
Tools: die Sizzix
Other: sequins

  1. Love the silhouette bird and the metallic wings! And I like how the fine sentiment contrasts with the bold branches. Our tree is up, with lights, ably assisted by a glass of mulled wine. The baubles will go on tomorrow. Probably ably assisted ...

  4. Love those shiny leaves! I think they're a perfect fit for these challenges. My sister is crazy for this die too! Great minds...and all. We're not having anyone for the holidays, so instead of doing any real decorating, I purchased a tree-shaped fresh rosemary bush and popped it on a table near the front window! TaDa.. Done! Not a light, not an ornament, just the lovely aroma of the fresh rosemary! Next year we'll be in full swing! Fun card, Maria! Bev

  5. Always a joy to come visit and see what you've got going on! No exception here ... the "color my world" theme has been used a ton, but I really like your interpretation of it. The dark green isn't really a ton of color, but the metallic really calls attention to it. I really like that it doesn't hit you with a ton of bricks! Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
