sequined flower (CAS(E), ATCAS, CASology)

Definitely a CAS card.  But many minutes went into it.  And I've now got a lot more respect for the likes of Chari M. and the others who have combined negative die cuts with sequins getting gorgeous results.  I definitely need more practice.  Have a look.

Used Matte Medium to glue them on.  Used a Spellbinders flower die and a sentiment on vellum from Clearly Besotted Stamps.

Playing at:
CAS(E) this Sketch - #27

Addicted to CAS - Rainbow
CASology - Hexagon

Off for a wine wagon ride - trademark of Rheinhessen.  Our town's festival is this weekend and the wine drinking season has officially begun.  (Not that we wait for it to become official around here.) Prost!

Supplies be Happy:
Paper: CS Bringmann, vellum The Paper Company
Stamps: sentiment Clearly Besotted
Ink: Versafine
Tools: die Spellbinders
Other: sequins

  6. This is stunning, Maria. All the time it took to place those sequins is so worth it--the results are amazing. I might just have to give this a try. Have a great time on your wine ride, and a wonderful weekend at the festival. Cheers. Bev

  7. Maria, we, your servants, like to believe you use a bit of magic when making your astonishing creations, so it's hard when you share that you have human difficulties or challenges when you whip one up! Seriously, this card is nothing short of magic and a winning card in these challenges, I'm just sure of it!!

Oh, how I wish I was there this weekend! Cheers back to you!

  14. Hey Maria! This is gorgeous. I wanted you to know that it inspired a card I made. I had meant to mention it in my post, but was doing a bunch of DT posts quickly and forgot to go back and edit that post. I have done that now and included a photo of your card and link back here. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration! https://honeybeelane.wordpress.com/2016/02/14/aaa-cards-58-sequins/
