do what it takes... (AEIU)

... to get the challenge done.  Especially when you don't own any Avery Elle stamps but the AEIU challenge requires you to use one.  And when you absolutely love the inspiration photo.

Those rubber boots.  And the thousand shades of gray on the wet pavement.  And of course the round red umbrella.  Meet my card.

Velveteen stamping with white pigment ink (check the closeup).  B/W stripes. Round and red.  Some splatters of "Spring Rain" Glimmer Mist.

Avery Elle offers a freebie digi here.  Can you find it on my card?  That's what I meant by doing what it takes to get the job done.  Some thinking outside the box.  And a little help from an older sketch over at Studio Calico.

Appreciate your visit.

Supplies for Best Wishes:
Paper: Cardbase Papermania, PP echo park, scraps
Stamps: digital stamp Avery Elle
Ink : Adirondack, Versafine
Tools: circle punch EKS, circle die MFT
Other: washi, Glimmer Mist

  1. I love the subtlety of the velveteen stamping (took me ages to see it on the full pic!) - and excellent thinking outside the box!
