ARTplorations stencil blog hop - day 3

There's a little blog hop happening over at STAMPlorations for your viewing pleasure. There are a bunch of new stencils in the shop and boy are they cool!

I've chosen Bubble Dance to work with. I hope you saw yesterday's card. Today I'm taking yesterday's design up a notch.

After sponging rainbow colors of Distress Inks through the stencil, I moved it slightly to the right and applied pearlescent embossing paste over the stencil. Don't you love the extra interest, depth and movement it adds to the design?

I finished today's card off with a sentiment from Born to Roam, heat embossed onto a strip of black CS and stapled to the card.

Hope you've enjoyed what the DT has created for your viewing pleasure! You''ll find links to all the projects here. As always, there are prizes - for comments you leave AND stencil projects you link up to the Flash Linky Party. Have a great (and productive) weekend!

I'm hooking up at:
Snippets Playground #224
Paru's Card Making Challenge - Anything Goes
and since the stencil is called Bubble DANCE, I'm waltzing over to the POLKA challenge at SSS.

ooo love this effect ,at first glance I thought you had been really patient and cut out similar size circles in vellum or white tissue paper and stuck them on but after reading realise its paste, what a wonderful effect and card too, thanks for sharing.

It's amazing! I love how the offsetting kind of minimises AND adds depth to the colours behind. Beautifully done. xx

Fantastic! At first I thought you'd used white ink on a piece of offset acetate. LOVE the idea of the pearlescent embossing paste. This is one awesome card!!! LOVE this. You did good, girl! Bev
